NUSIM, S.A.U. completes factory and load tests of 8 handling equipment for Flamanville 3. Said equipment are work tools that facilitate the task of handling, storage and installation of penetrations and pipes that will be soon installed on site.
The project, which is being developed at the request of Westinghouse Electric Company and with the support of FABE Business Development, was a challenge given the tight design, manufacturing and delivery time of such equipment. Finally, the intermediate deadlines set by the client have been met, making the final delivery within the agreed period.
During the FAT, functional and load tests have been carried out for the certification of the equipment to ensure that the requirements specified by the client and end user are met.
