NUSIM, S.A. supplies handling equipments for radioactive packages in the Zorita NPP decommissioning
The National Company, ENRESA, has relied on Nusim S.A. to supply a set of handling equipments for radioactive packages in the radwaste temporary repositories for the Zorita N.P.P. Decommissioning.
The equipments are part of the new PnP NUSPIDER range. This range called Plug & Play allows drums handling of various diameters with battery powered and commanded wirelessly, so the customer does not need to make any adjustment of their facilities and can use the equipment no more than hanging bridge crane, boom or truck.
The supply also includes a 3G NUSCMT equipment. This equipment of third generation allows handling of radwaste CMT containers, respecting the requirements applicable to the handling of radioactive packages security, plus additional requirements that are integrated into all handling equipment developed by NUSIM, S.A.
