NUSIM, S.A. optimizes the use of its corporate vehicles reducing fuel consumption by 52%. February 9, 2018
As part of NUSIM’s firm commitment to Environment defense and protection within the framework of our Quality and Environmental Management system, a series of measures have been implemented throughout the last years with the goal of reducing emissions associated in the company staff road transport.
In 2013, the company’s mobile fleet was increased, minimizing the use of own vehicles by employees for work trips. In successive years, vehicle optimization measures are being implemented, increasing the occupancy level due to the displacement of these vehicles and establishing an effective coordination between the needs of each project and available resources of the fleet.
Thanks to the efforts and commitment of all the personnel of NUSIM, S.A and its managers in 2017, a reduction of 52% in annual fuel consumption per billing unit has been achieved.
