Equipment for 220 liters drums X-ray inspection.

The equipments for drums X-ray inspection developed by NUSIM are designed for an easy transportation and operation in the different Spanish nuclear power plants.

The equipments are integrated into ISO container which facilitates transportation to nuclear power plant and to perform inspection for the acceptation of drums in origin, before being shifted to the centralized warehouse.

The container includes all the elements necessary to make the inspection process independently from the plant:
– Lead shielded walls
– Entrance and exit airlocks for the drum
– Road roller
– Inspection table with elevation and rotation of the package
– XR source
– XR chamber for continuous monitoring of the inspection
– Shielded operation room
– Control boards
– Adjustable legs to fit the roller tracks of the plant
