Equipments for special movements of standard packages, for non standard packaging handling, or for the handling of intermediate elements necessary for the work package stacking.

NUSIM develops specific handling equipment for special applications that may be necessary in the processing of radioactive waste.

NUSIM has equipments in the market for the following applications:

– Handling of supercompacted drums with irregular dimensions and shapes.
– Elevators for supercompacted drums.
– Grippers for transporting and turning cylindrical drums.
– Drum handling and capping gripper that allows even capping a drum located inside a bigger one.
– Shielding capping-uncapping gripper for armouredground transport.
– Gripper metal plates handling to be placed between drum layers for stabilization.
– Gripper for tube movement (NUSFINGUER).
